I have Found the Secret -- 7/25/2014 Part Two

In the afternoon Mike and Chris invite us for a cruise aboard OdySea to see Toba Inlet.  Maybe we will find the secret. There are many waterfalls on the mountainsides.  We see evidence of past logging operations over the entire region and can't tell if much has been reforested.  The logging road in the second photo is much better than the one I walked earlier.

Before long Mike offers Herb to take the helm.  Sure, he says.  It is fun to be at the helm of a boat he drove for the past three years.

We cruise by a nice waterfall, seeing it split into several crevices as it slides along the rocks.

I cannot believe my eyes that we see a glacier as we cruise the Inlet!  Blue ice that is snow compressed into the glacier.  Oh, how beautiful!

The summer sun melts some of it, which then becomes the waterfall below.

Falling over a large group of rocks, it cascades....

and cascades....

and cascades....

It seems to explode into several white bursts at the last fall....

Cruising on past, we enjoys the rock formations.

I think I have found the secret at Toba Wildernest.  Jorge says there is wildlife farther past the waterfall, but I will let that be his secret.

    1. The special waterfall is after you make the turn in the arm, and will be on your starboard. Awesome!
