The fun has begun!
We do more organizing to get ready for the next trip, which is Bob and Nita's Mini Cruise to Fishermen's Terminal on Lake Union. Provisioning at Costco, cleaning the salt off the boat, and anticipating the cruise -- always fun.
On Wednesday we cast off Cascadia with Anne Cox at the wheel, and she makes a splendid exit from her slip. As we get ourselves under way, we see some ladies in a canoe paddle to get out of our path, but actually go where we need to go. We signal them our intentions and, laughing, they row faster to change direction while we tell them not to panic -- they are fine.

We cruise along with Cascadia and plan to meet Bob at Skyline in front of his brother's home to show off three Rangers Tugs together.

It is so nice to see large tugs and tows and big ships again; however, not too up close. We catch a nine foot trough -- the biggest ever for us -- and everything on Willie's Tug moves or falls. Nothing breaks. Hanjin Monaco is the container ship responsible.
The photo here is from vesseltracker.com, as I have to secure my camera and check on Jake.

Arriving at one of my favorite marinas, Bell Harbor in Seattle, we dock Willie's Tug, then catch the lines of Cascadia. We enjoy some much needed relaxation after our fast paced travel begun almost two weeks ago, and the fun continues.
