New Neighbors -- Wednesday, May 29, 2013 -- Day 19

After checking tides, we leave Tacoma early this morning to get through The Narrows at slack as we cruise to Jarrell Cove, farther south, and are glad we are on the water -- not on land -- when we see the rush hour traffic bumper to bumper.

It is very pleasant to cruise today -- sights seen:

ships that dwarf us as we leave the harbor,

a nice hill I would enjoy walking,

another hill that would present a challenge,

    the bridge at The Narrows,

  a friendly seal,

and a prison with a 'chase boat' that, I am sure, can outrun us.

When we arrive at Jarrell Cove, we are lucky to find space at the dock and two lovely couples, who invite us to join them for cocktails at Happy Hour.
