Saturday is Farmer's Market in Olympia, and a nice walk from Swantown Marina. Cherries are ripening all over Washington and I can't wait to purchase some.
We walk through the Market to see what is available, and especially enjoy the flowers. We keep coming back to the food vendors and are amused at the Louisiana (our home state) items on one menu.
After our selection for lunch, we find seating near a young family, who give permission to photograph their darling children. They appear to be twins and do not need silverware for their rice dish. My camera is not quick enough to capture both children with their fingers in the food at the same time. So cute!
A walk about town brings us to a jewelry store -- imagine that -- and we are shown several pieces, but nothing seems to be right for me.
Then I see it --
