Gig Harbor -- Monday, 6/3/2013

On this sunny morning with a temp of 70 degrees, we turn Willie's Tug north onto a light chop, and hope to get as far as Gig Harbor for our port.  We begin to see crab pots being put out, and like this boat with a crab trap puller to make her work easier.

Mount Ranier's snow reflects the sun on her peak, making a contrast with the low lying clouds in the distance at Gibson Point on Fox Island just south of The Narrows.

I love to see the beginning and the end of trains, which is rare in the part of the country I grew up in.  This photo shows one some distance from us, near the water's edge.

We arrive at Gig Harbor and are directed to a side tie at Arabella's Landing.

Find Willie's Tug....

Jake takes a walk around the beautiful marina.

We look forward to more exploring tomorrow.
