New Mexico, then Arizona! - Monday, May 13, 2013 - Day 3

Traveling through New Mexico, we stop at a Rest Area, with camera in hand.

We see a sweet face in the window of an RV rental unit, but laugh when we realize it is just a picture advertising travel.  I can't resist taking photos of Golden Retrievers -- and other cute animals.  Or photos of pictures.

Soon we are in Arizona and begin searching the internet for the RV park for the night.

We always call ahead to make sure the camp host understands that we are a truck towing a a cabin cruiser boat that we sleep aboard.  Tonight it is Fiesta Grand at Casa Grand AZ, located between Tucson and Phoenix.

The park has great amenities, including swimming pools, hot tub, driving range, community center, quilting club, and fitness rooms.  Did I mention the temperature?  On this trip we have experienced cold, cool, and now the weather is getting hot, so we definitely take advantage of the pool.  It is the first one I have ever seen with a ramp and hand rail for the handicapped and elderly to enter the shallow end, rather than go down steps.

A walk about is very pleasant and we are amused at the humor displayed at some of the cottages.  Our lawn mowing days are over, also!
