Kingston -- Wednesday -Thursday, 6/5-6/6/2013 -- Days 26 -27

Leaving Port Orchard we see ahead Washington State Ferry Kitsap meet Kaleetan in front of Mount Ranier.  I like that!

The Island Champion and her tow, over 200 meters long.

Other vessels -- some slow and some fast....

Pacific Eagle tows a fuel barge.

If you look closely at the photo below, you can see the tow lines on the bow of the barge as they dip into the sea.

As we arrive in Kingston for the night, the candy stripe arm is up and the ferry is still loading cars.

It seems to be 'Saturday in the Park' today with a group of school children having a field trip.  Many play games, others turn cart wheels, and some just roll in the soft grass.   Jake shows them how it is done.

It is crabbing season here, and the boats will head out early in the morning.

Find Willie's Tug.....

A small dog on a stand up paddle board gets Jake's attention, and he protests that he wants a ride, also.

Jake finds a water bowl in front of the quilt store.  I think I should learn to quilt;  Nancy G. and Nita say it is a lot of fun.
