Seas are rippled; sky is monochromatic with various shades of gray.

Passing the confluence of Phillps Arm, we get to the confluence of Nodales Channel and Frederick Arm, where the sky is somewhat brighter with streamers of blue slicing here and there through the clouds. As we get closer to Dent Rapids we encounter tide rips and S/V Beyond the Stars heels as she struggles through.
By the time we get to Dent it is very calm and a minute past slack at Gillard we have swells only.
Nice.
With Stuart Community Dock (formerly Big Bay) in sight, something on shore to our port catches my eye. It is signs people have posted with phrases or boat names. A bit of graffiti and reminds me of the Sign Forest in Watson Lake, Yukon.
We arrive at the dock shortly after noon and June makes us our choice of oyster or beef burger. We can't resist her fresh chocolate cookies and a loaf of fresh baked bread for our provisions.
