Friends? -- 8/21/2014

On our first full day at Salt Spring Island we do a little housekeeping -- literally -- Willie's Tug is my house for the Summer.

In late afternoon Dr. Jake sounds a rare bark and I run to see if he has a problem.  Usually when he barks, it is because a child or another dog ran by.  We still can't decide if he is saying, "Come play with me" or "You scared me!"

I see two very young swans into the vacant slip next to us.  I suspect Jake is saying, "You scared me!"
