Days 98-101 - Anacortes WA - Tuesday-Friday, August 16-19, 2011

It is a work week.  Herb takes Willie's Tug out of the water and gives her a good bath prior to trailering to Kent WA for scheduled maintenance at the Ranger Tug factory.

Find Willie's Tug.

We are invited to spend the night at our home-away-from-boat at the Ostlund Five Star Hotel.  It will give us a chance to visit with Bob and Nita to re-live some of our recent trips, and make plans for the Ranger Rendezvous to be held next month in Bremerton.

Bob accompanies Herb to Kent, and the next morning as I am going to walk Jake, I see we have visitors.

There is a trail between some houses in the neighborhood where people walk their dogs and deer feed.  I quietly get my camera.

With Willie's Tug back home and in the water at Cap Sante, we dock stern in with the cockpit inviting passersby to stop and visit.

Nick does just that.  He asks many questions about our boat and our trips, and I am beginning to think he is either a journalist or a very interested would-be boat owner.

He disappoints me.  He confesses that he just enjoys walking the docks and looking at boats.  Nick is quite delightful and we enjoy his visit.
