Day 88 - Laura Cove in Desolation Sound BC - Saturday, August 6, 2011

Heather and the girls say "Goodbye" as they prepare to leave Laura Cove.

They reel in the stern tie,

and thread their way through the many anchors here for the weekend.

We understand there will be an even lower tide tonight, so to be on the safer side, Herb moves our stern tie to a tree farther away from the rocks.

Mary and Johnny of Red Ranger have been in Melanie Cove, and come to say "Hello" before leaving for Squirrel Cove.  Mary is interested in the Farmer's Market there.

Depend on Mary to tell you where the best food is -- like the bakery in Lund.  We hope to go check it out.

Find Willie's Tug.

Leroy and Lisa of Chiquita with Patty and Roger dinghy by after their clam dig.

After a full day of sun, we head for the rocks that give up their heat to the water, and anticipate a nice refreshing swim.

Oh, it's freezing!
Oh, it's nice!

70 degree water -- and here is the proof that I did swim!

Willie of Willie's Tug,
   and Walldog, Willie and Jake
