It's all about friends and food -- 5/8 - 13, 2014

We are so excited to have a visit from Bruce and Vicki on Thursday, and they have another look at the new Willie's Tug.  Their MoonShadow is very similar and we call them sister ships.  We have lunch at Chinook's at Salmon Bay at the head of the dock, and there is so much to talk about and laugh about, that I forget to take a 'documentary' photo.

David calls from Destiny at Stimson Marina across the canal and takes us to dinner at one of his favorite restaurants in the area -- Senor Moose Cafe in Ballard.  Mr. Baker shows us his choice on the menu and we all order it.  Yum, tasty Mexican food!

On Friday Ray calls to say he is passing through Seattle on his way home to Guemes Island and stops in for lunch with us.

Uh, oh, no photo, again, as we are too busy with our food.

Reminded that several friends moor their boats at Stimson Marina and highly recommend it, we take a ride over to see if there are any vacancies.  We are in luck, so we say so long for now to Fishermen's Terminal and cruise the short distance to take a space on "O" Dock.

We hear from Tym and June that they have Circle T at Shilshole Bay Marina for bottom paint, and will head our way soon.  Fred and Diana join them on the ride through the locks, and we catch their lines as they return to their slip at Stimson.

Friendship -- old home week!
