Eggs of a Different Color -- 5/3/2014

Last year the joke the local folks were saying is, "It is a good thing that Summer came on a week end so working people could enjoy it."  Agreed there was a lot of rain and wind last year.

This year I say, "Summer came in April," because we saw on the WX news how pleasant it has been, and now that we are in Anacortes the cool and rains begin.  

However, in between the showers we drive the truck to Cap Sante Marina to check on Willie's Tug, and find evidence that Brenna and her parents, Ray and Jocelyn, have visited the boat.  At the door we find this lovely carton of home grown eggs from Brenna's chickens and a fresh bouquet of flowers from their garden.

Life is good!
