Why I Love Houston -- 4/22 - 4/23/2014

We leave the hills of East Texas heading to the Houston area for a few days at Advanced RV Park in Pearland.  It is a wonderful park and close to our children in Silverlake, so we get to spend time with them.

How is it that we arrive at rush hour?  Oh, I forgot!  It is always rush hour!  Everyone loves Houston!!!

Not a problem, Sweet Caroline is safe, no accidents and we pass the time thinking of all Houston has to offer -- to quote my friend Tama -- the museums, the zoo and theatre.  As well as the dog park in Pearland, Central Market, and SHOPPING!

We enjoy the family time with Ed, daughter Roxie and granddaughter Stephanie, a large part of which is spent preparing dinner.  I love that Roxie says, "Will you get a few pinches of basil from the garden?"  "I need a little more basil, please."

The garden is the several flower beds in the backyard.  Rosemary, parsley, mint, and more.  Cooking is a joy, not a chore.

A bonus is the Mamaw time with Stephanie.
