Rosario Resort, Orcas Island - 7/11/2012

Russ and Toni leave early this morning in just a bit of fog, and as we see the soft pastel green of Traveler, we are so reminiscent of their visit to Port Isabel last year.

Since we have only a few miles to go to arrive at Rosario Resort on Orcas, we walk around town a bit more and visit some book stores.  We stop by the Whale Watching Office to say Hello to Joan Bathurst, but she is not working today.

We have another close view of a ferry, as we leave Friday Harbor.

And a nice view of Mount Baker before the fog lifts.

As we approach our assigned slip, we see the dock hand -- as well as Captain Mac -- waiting to tie our lines, and laugh as Herb says, "Oh, I better not use my thrusters.  Capt. Mac is here!"  Mac has heard us call in on the radio and has come to greet us.

We arrive at Rosario just in time to attend the organ concert and tour the museum in the Moran Mansion.  Vicki admires the organ pipe facade.

At the end of the slide show, our entertainer plays a silent movie of "Phantom of the Opera," to our delight.

At one end of the dining room, now the restaurant, we admire a coffee urn that was used in the days when Robert Moran lived in the Mansion.

Find Willie's Tug.....

Happy Hour is complete with the iTunes in the iPad playing "Phantom of the Opera."  We can't get enough.

Dinner is at the grill, where we see again Capt. Mac and Linda, and a deer comes to visit the gift shop.
