Reid Harbor, Stuart Island - 7/9/2012

Another favorite Washington State Park is Reid Harbor on Stuart Island, which is a bit more westerly, toward Canada.  Vicki does not have her passport, so we show her Canada from a distance.

We tell her about the long hike to Turn Point on the island and the treasure chest of shirts along the way.  She does a bit of exploring, and gives some thought to whether or not she needs another tee shirt.

Find Willie's Tug...........

Herb strolls across the island to Prevost Harbor, and is excited to see not one, but two 21 ft. Ranger Tugs.

Today we enjoy the quiet, the peacefulness, and the birds.

Later, when asked how she likes the San Juan Islands, so far, Vicki is heard to say, "There are a lot of forests.........."
