Party Before the Cruise

Moondance arrives at Cap Sante Boat Haven, poised to cast off early Friday for destinations in Canada during the next week.

We welcome Bruce and Vicki for cocktails, and discuss where to go for dinner, so that our galleys are not disturbed this evening.

While searching for the Village Pizza in downtown Anacortes, Bruce adds to his collection of 'self portraits with locals.'

OK,  technically not a self portrait.

Bruce remembers how I love the label of 14 Hands wine -- OK, the wine, also, and we agree that is should be our choice for dinner.

Sixteen Hands?

14 Hands, a Washington Wine

Dinner is great, the visit is wonderful, and the sunset is nice.  We sleep well, in anticipation of the exciting week of cruising we will have with Bruce and Vicki, and David and Maureen, whom we will see tomorrow.

  1. Bruce is too funny. Bobby does the photo of the "local dignataries" as well, usually with some well placed hands... Beautiful tug, the Moondance. Bring us a bottle of wine to try, if you have room when you come back.

    Have a wonderful cruise

  2. Will do. We actually found a bottle of 14 Hands at The Aquarium Restaurant in Kemah a few months ago. I was ecstatic!
