On Thursday we join Bruce and Vicki for Happy Hour at their slip at Cap Sante and share stories from our Desolation Sound cruisings.
Bruce tells of finding a wonderful haven at Backeddy Marina at Egmont on the Sechelt Peninsula, where they with Patrick, Gail, Jorge and Marcus spent time waiting for weather calm enough to cross the Strait of Georgia.
Vicki shows the location on the map, and we think this could be on our Bucket List for next year!
As Herb and I head back to Willie's Tug, Lincoln calls to us from the dock across the fairway and invites us to check our his crab catch.
Rich and Shirley took him crabbing on their Island Ranger 29, and he is successful!

It is good to catch up with our friends again and hear about their Desolation Sound adventures. We also learn that Lincoln has been given a nickname. Lincoln James became Jim, then since Grandpa Tym has a unique spelling, he is now Jym.
We love you, Jym, and hope you enjoy the rest of your summer vacation back home; we'll all miss you!
Entertainment for the evening is provided by Rich and myself, as we work to fold up the crab trap. It comes with instructions. What fun!!!
Shirley has it all figured out!
