Anacortes - 8/17 - 8/22/2012

Back from Desolation Sound, we are 'home' at our slip in Cap Sante, Anacortes, enjoying friends and scenery.

A blue heron flies to the finger pier next to us, waiting patiently to see a fish swim by.  

I keep waiting for Jake to bark at the intruder, but he sleeps through the entire visit.

Traffic waits, and Jake watches, as we take him on his afternoon walk.

We are pleased to see another Ranger Tug coming down our fairway, and wave to Honu Kai.  Owners Barbara and Benny Larsen come to visit us on their way home to Kingston from a cruise to Blaine WA.

They have interesting experiences to share, invite us to visit them on our way to Bremerton to the Rendezvous next month.
