Shown in the photo are from left, Herb showing Bob Ostlund his new iPad, Bob and Nita Ostlund of Nellie Too, Kathy and Craig Wilson of Salish Rover, and John, who is beginning the introductions.
We also enjoy our choice of the Starbucks menu, and Herb, Nita and I choose 'iced coffee mocha,' of which I think Inez and Myrna would approve.
I do think this is the most enjoyable meeting I have ever attended, as many great ideas surfaced, many efforts volunteered, and a date set for another session in picturesque Poulsbo WA next month.
Back in Everett in the afternoon we explore the marina and take Jake for a walk along its scenic walking path. We meet Kim and Patrick of C-Dory Kim Christine, who are docked behind us along the guest moorage. Herb and Patrick know each other from the C-Brats.
A well-trained Shih Tzu waits for her master to return from breakfast at Anthony's.
As we continue on the walking path we come by the side of a Navy installation and are glad to see its security at the entrance -- we are familiar with private parking lots with spikes in the driveway and a sign that warns about tire damage on backing up.
The Navy is serious!
