Day 62 - Anacortes WA - Sunday, August 29, 2010

Christ Church, Anacortes

Don't tell my Cheerios box, but I have a wonderful lunch after church today at Randy's Pier 61.  I do not have my camera!

My favorite items are Eggs Benedict and Cherry Blintz.  Oh, and some vegetables, ham -- and coffee with dessert.  What dessert?  After the blintz, it really isn't worth mentioning.

Our dining room is on the water's edge with a view of the channel on three sides.   A few boats go leisurely by on the calm water, creating a small wake.   What more could you ask?

An interesting observation is that someone has the answer to that:  a party of three comes in, is seated by a window, orders hamburgers and such from the menu, then brings out their books and begins to read while the food is being prepared.  Hmmm...............

Pictures here are some taken later in the day, as the cool front begins to come in.
