Days 63 and 64 - Anacortes WA - Monday and Tuesday, July 11 and 12, 2011

While driving down the street Monday, Herb's 'Ranger Tug eye' spots a Ranger Tug on a trailer.

"There's a Ranger Tug!"

I ask, "Where?"

We turn through the Safeway parking lot and come along side the boat parked on the street, and see it is a 21 foot named Tug-Along.  Herb recalls having seen something posted on the TugNuts forum in the past, and is happy to see the boat.

Just as we are about to drive away, we see someone walking with groceries toward Tug-Along, and call to him to see if he is the owner.  He is Joe Fernandez and is indeed the owner.   We visit a few minutes and invite him to stop in at our slip later.

Today he comes aboard Willie's Tug and we learn that he is headed for a tour of the San Juan islands.  He is from Marble Falls TX and we are delighted to see another Texan enjoying this part of the country.

We hope to see Joe again.
