Day 60 - Sidney, Vancouver Island - Friday, July 8, 2011

Oh, the geese are back today. They are having a feeding frenzy right beside our boat. We see hundreds of minnows in the water and wonder if that is breakfast.

Later in the morning they return looking for an early lunch.

We plan to leave here tomorrow, so we take another look around and enjoy the beautiful flowers as we look toward the entrance to the marina between the stone breakwaters.

The Fish Market makes a nice presence, and we would buy fresh fish there if we could ever find it open.

Perhaps they sell out quickly!

We stop to visit with another boater, and the Goldens never miss an opportunity  to visit with each other and the humans.

Along the walking path on the point are park benches for enjoying the sunset, and supplies for dog walking.  The trash cans are so beautifully disguised, that we didn't think there were any and had a hard time finding where to make the deposit.  Nice touch!

A sculpture of an owner walking the dog catches our eye, as we head back to the boat for the evening.
