More of Victoria -- Saturday, 8/31/2013 -- Day 113

It is always good to plan ahead, especially when it involves early morning activities.  Because Last Call, Hayden Bay and Destiny will leave tomorrow morning, it is suggested that we rearrange our positions at the dock so they can be behind to back out, spin around and not have to untie Willie's Tug and Circle T.

With Patrick as the director, we begin by moving Last Call  to the pier next to us.

Here's the sweet part -- without unrafting Circle T, we simply walk the two boats forward to take the site at the front of D-Dock.

Then Willie's Tug is tied off again.

Marcus adds a line for Circle T.

With no thrusters used, Gail and David apply the old boat hook maneuver to bring Last Call out of the corner and start her moving back.

David is heard to say, "Folks, don't try this at home!"

A walk about the area, from the marina, across the bridge and to the other side of the harbour proves to be a superb spot for photos Herb takes with his phone. He tells me he actually finds Willie's Tug.
