Let Me Entertain You! -- PART 2 of Rendezvous Day 2, 9/6/2013 -- Day 119

The evening of Day 2 of the Rendezvous gives us the music and entertainment by our TugNut Jim Bathurst, who pilots the C-Dory Wild Blue.  He introduces himself and tells us that for many years he played to an audience of one, the love of his life, whom he lovingly refers to as 'The Blonde.'   Immediately there are smiles from the group.

Jim's repertoire includes songs by Three Dog Night, The Eagles, Van Morrison, Jimmy Buffett and more.

Our enjoyment is evidenced by the toe tapping, hand clapping and smiles on our faces.  

Not only does Jim present an awesome program of music, he keeps us laughing with his monologue -- and dialogue!

You tell him, Joe.

Oh, yeah!     He really gets into this --

And so do we --

Joan, 'The Blonde,' leads us in hand movements to "Fins," and some are heard to sing along, "...You got fins to the left, fins to the right, and you're the only girl in town."  (Jimmy Buffett)

To our surprise, Jim tells us he is playing a new guitar that has sharks on the frets. 

Really?

Yes.

Then it is autograph time.  Thank you, Jim, for a fabulous show!
