The Sunglasses Mystery and Wine Forecast -- Thursday, August 4, 2016

Now that we are all settled into On Your Mark with provisions to get us to the next port, we think of times in the past when Skip and Nancy of Nancy G have been here on their boat. They would come every other weekend, arriving on Thursday, which came to be known as 'What-a-burger' night.  

I had asked her a few weeks ago when her Port A weekend is, and learned there is no more 'schedule' since George and Melissa set sail for the northeast coast.  Pearl texts her today to see if they plan to come soon and happily reports, "Today!"

They join us for cocktails, and wearing sunglasses, we all go topside to enjoy the breeze and scenery.   Conversation is lively with much laughter.   Oh, Pearl has left her sunglasses in the cabin and returns below to fetch them.  Not being successful, she returns topside to discover where they are.

'Mr. Segars' sits quietly waiting to see how long it will take us to find Pearl's shades.

Planning ahead, our conversation turns to dinner and there is a very high level discussion on whether we should have What-a-burgers or Pizza.  Well, for me, there is no question!  Pizza - pizza!   Others agree and we get Pizza Hut's Supreme all around.   Enough for left-overs for lunch tomorrow.  Yum, yum!

Casual dress is the attire for the evening, and Nancy's shirt tells the truth, "Tonight's Forecast - 99% chance of wine ."
