After getting settled into our slip on K Dock, we join friends for dinner at The Brown Lantern in downtown Anacortes.

I wonder if anyone at Cap Sante has lost a Beanie Baby toy, or is this the tradition of leaving for others the things you no longer want..... Jake thinks all toys are his. Here he is accepting his latest toy, which was left on top of the handrail along the walking path.

David Baker invites us to visit for Happy Hour on Wednesday, and we tour his and Maureen's new 38 ft Helmsman Trawler, Destiny. She's a beauty! He invites Herb to the helm to see if it 'fits.' Herb thinks it does.
Herb inspects the engine room and then we see the special 'built by David' addition -- the secret wine cellar! Who woulda thought it? And fully stocked.

On Friday night Bob and Nita host a BBQ for friends attending the Trawler Fest in Anacortes, and we get to visit with many whom we have not seen in a year. What a party. What a feast! No left-overs!!
On Saturday we welcome Maureen, Bruce and Vicki, along with Lyman and Janeane and friends and enjoy dinner at Anthony's. Destiny will be turning south tomorrow.
